In the third quarter of 2024, the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications on the Android platform in New Zealand exhibited varied performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Booster NZ saw its weekly downloads peak at 683 in mid-July, followed by a downward trend, finishing the quarter at 194 downloads. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

For Splitwise, weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $208 in early September. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 300 per week, with a slight dip to 251 in mid-September. The weekly active users hovered around 2K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Westpac NZ CashNav maintained a consistent rate of weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 165 to 271. The app did not record any revenue during the quarter.

Money Tracker-Expense & Budget experienced an initial weekly revenue of $92, which dropped to zero in subsequent weeks. Downloads observed a steady increase, peaking at 194 in late July. Active users steadily rose from 676 at the beginning of July to 1,045 by the end of September.
